Is hypnosis safe?
Yes. Being in ‘trance’ does not mean that you become unconscious or fall asleep. You would probably feel deeply and pleasantly relaxed but are aware of what is going on around you and you are in control of what to say to the hypnotist. 

Can anyone be hypnotized?
Yes. Trance state is a natural state that happens to everyone. In a therapeutic setting the degree of trance may vary from person to person, one may go deeper while another remains in a lighter state. However therapy-wise they both seem to achieve effective outcome in the end. People who are under psychiatric care may not be suitable to be hypnotized and need to consult their doctor first.

How many sessions does it take?
It depends entirely on the individual. Some people may need only 1-3 sessions whereas others may require 6- 12 sessions. Six sessions seem to be an average. In case of Stopping Smoking it usually takes two sessions.

What is NLP?

This is not a therapy but it focuses on what you can do now and builds on that. A lifecoach can assists you in identifying where your strengths, your talents and abilities lie. Then she helps you in setting up goals and steps you need to reach them. She helps you to identify specific actions that you can take, as without action nothing moves. She supports, prompts and encourages you to take those actions all along the way and until you do them. Meanwhile she assists you to identify any stumbling blocks that hold you back.
